The University of Miami hired DLR Group’s integrated design services to re-envision and remodel the 2nd floor of the Whitten Center for cultural and non-cultural student groups. DLR Group led several engaging student and staff workshops to hone in on the aesthetics and graphics that would resonate with the campus community and bring vibrancy to a once underutilized student space. This cost-effective transformation included redesigning the floor to better accommodate the needs of the diverse groups and to incorporate furnishings, finishes, and wall murals that celebrated the student population of the University of Miami.
